As a Composition and rhetoric Graduate Student focusing on copywriting, technical writing as well as other forms of the digital humanities, I've curated various strategies of communication while also teach students about the wonders of college composition. Furthermore, I plan to also bring the knowledge gathered to study the mysteries of artificial intelligence. • Goal: Introduce first-year students coming into English 100 with the standards and knowledge about collegiate writing as an Research Assistant/Teacher.• Value: Promoted and enhanced their writing styles by introducing effective written communication and critical thinking skills, while also bridging the transition from high-school to college.Contributions:• Assisted over 50+ students with introducing them to college writing, provided hybrid consultations to alleviate any concerns and anxieties relative towards their writing/college experience.• Created 2-3 weekly presentations across the fall and spring semester using Microsoft PowerPoint, to instruct, guide and monitor their growing knowledge of different collegiate writing topics.• Hosted 30+ meeting conferences outside of class with first-year students to answer their questions and concerns regarding the midterm and final essays.

Intensified different variations of writing strategies for the clients and consultants. • Overseen a group of 7+ undergraduate, graduate writing consultants and writing center interns to understand the best practices for the writing center. • Collaborated with faculty and staff to create a detailed infographic related to thesis statements in which would be published within the university’s Lloyd Hall.• Met with different professors from various departments to host 10+ in-class workshops, instructing, directing, and motivating students to positively learn more about the writing center’s services, as well as a specific college writing practice.

During my undergraduate career, I was given the opportunity to assist the Ferguson Student Center (now known as the Student Center) as a Conference Coordinator. My responsibilities included: completing room reservations from the university or privatized companies; from setting up props and seating to serving as a point of reference at the center's information desk. I did this by planning, designing, researching, proofreading, and executing daily events. I also researched various logistics within the center, while mostly handling the clerical, everyday tasks. For the efficiency of programming while having the maintenance of university knowledge, I ensured a safe environment for students and tourists visiting the university.

Within my first-year at the university, I was given the opportunity to partner with the office of Orientation and Special programs as an Orientation Leader for the Avanti Program. This program serves along the summertime programming brought by the university to incorporate aspiring students. For the remainder of the summer, not only have I been gratefully positioned as an orientation leader for the College of Human Sciences, but I was also one for the college's crimson connections program. This program (at its time) specified students who're specially admitted into the university. Overall, I've assisted incoming students by hosting partnered lectures with my team members, as well as sharing helpful information, and participated with the incoming students throughout other activities whether day or night.
