Born and raised in Italy, I graduated in Genoa’s Law University, LLM, shaped by Victor Uckmar’s mentoring, in the Legal Financial and Tributary field.Through this four years long experience, I was able to interact with major Global Corporations expanding their businesses in South America, focusing on International Finance and Taxation, Joint Ventures in South America (Argentina, Chile and Brazil), and Business Strategy, creating collaboration between Governmental Authorities and Chambers of Commerce.We worked on cooperations such YPF-Total, Telecom Italia (TIM), amongst others, advising on their expansion into South American Markets.Honored to represent his work in panels during the preparation of regulations for the European Community (Court d’Arbitrage de Bruxelles), working alongside the very legislators of the MERCOSUR. This professional and academic work on Joint Ventures, between European and South American companies, has been the grounds to master business strategy and Corporate Partnerships. London School of Economics (LSE), researched on the Financial Services Authority, being granted access to the legislative preparatory works. Expanded my expertise in International Mergers and Acquisitions in the M&A Sector at Credit Suisse-First Boston. In 2002 Brazil, to co-found and co-lead in the role of Chief Operations Officer, a Maritime Shipping Company, Azure Do Brazil. Accountable for organizational governance, administrative supervision and staff training, dealing with the challenge of blending different cultures, languages and currencies during negotiations in a foreign Country.Member of the Board of Administrators for 14 years. I relocated to US in 2013. I believe we learn from those we guide, as much as we allow them to raise, proud and humble to have contributed to their growth.
