Responsibilities:- Coordinating and facilitating international cooperation of Polish civil protection / disaster management stakeholders- Developing national and international civil protection / disaster management policies and legal frameworks- Working in command staff during major national and international response operationsAdditional functions:- Member of the EU Civil Protection Committee and the Union Civil Protection Knowledge Network Board- National focal point for the Policy Area SECURE of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea RegionAreas of expertise:- Civil protection systems- Cross-sectoral partnerships- Risk, emergency and crisis communication- R&D in safety and securitySelected achievements:- Founder of numerous international civil protection / disaster management initiatives under EU, UN, CBSS, OSCE, V4 and bilateral frameworks- Development of EU works on communication in civil protection during the Polish Presidency in the EU Council 2011- Organizer of the BALTInnoSEC forum - first Baltic Sea Region cross-sectoral, multidisciplinary innovation event focused on crisis communication challenges during war, CBRNE threats and migratory pressure

- Conducting classes on the organization of civil protection, civil defense and crisis management systems in Poland and around the world

- Developer and coordinator of numerous projects related to the empowerment of young people from disadvantaged areas, fostering of social volunteering and promoting international mobility for lifelong learning.
