Managed a team of five infrastructure engineers responsible for a medical network across four major Queensland hospitals. Provided senior technical assistance to clinical and financial application teams supporting Cerner, Oracle and SAP in addition to general financial and payroll systems.Project manager and lead technical resource on a SAN replacement and business continuity project. Installed and configured an EMC VNX5300 storage array with 45TB capacity. Migrated a number of key corporate and medical systems including Windows 2003/2008 File, Email and SQL servers in addition to SAP Clusters and AIX Application and Oracle DB Servers. The project was completed ahead of schedule with no service interruption or unplanned downtime.

Was responsible for managing a countrywide network and server platform supporting 800 front-of-house and back-of-house staff members. A $300,000AUD Cisco Call Manager 7 implementation to replace a failing analogue PBX;A multi-site backup consolidation project, replacing a number of isolated backup servers with a single BackupExec platform;A $75,000AUD investment in Apple server infrastructure to allow network based deployment, centralised control and management and single-sign-on (SSO) against an incumbent 2003 Active Directory system.In addition, I acted as Lead Technician ensuring the reliable provision of 30+ Windows 2003/2008 servers and associated AD/DHCP/WINS/DFS/SQL/IIS services. Managed a site-wide Cisco WIFI system with WIFI LAN controller and 10 access points supplying private and public networks.
