As the Cloud Engineering Manager at Flutter International, I am leading a group of talented Delivery Engineers who design, implement and manage Cloud hosted solutions supporting the company strategy to migrate the systems to the Public Cloud.Among some of the key responsibilities:• Overseeing all activities within the teams and coordinating with other teams for operational tasks. • Create an amazing place to work where we deliver for business, raise the bar, and ensure everyone is having fun doing it • Ensure alignment of local teams with our global teams delivering on the overall department's strategy • Participation in day-to-day activities with the team leads, providing support to staff to address issues and incidents. • Provide training, mentoring, consulting, and knowledge transfer to team members. • Determining the goals for team members, providing guidance and assistance to achieve goals, and performing annual reviews. • Preventing conflict where possible and resolving it when it does arise. • Ensure company policies and procedures are followed. • Management of inventory and capacity of all cloud resources across the organization • Promote improvements to the processes through automation of manual processes. • Assist in hiring process, compose job description and role profile for candidates; participate in the interview; work with HR on execution of related procedures, including preparing onboarding plan and submitting probation assessment reports.

Manage and coordinate the international Server and Storage Operations Team, consisting of 9 people, locally (Cluj) and remotely ( UK, Philippines). My activities include:- Team management in both administrative and functional aspects;- Leading, motivating and growing the team;- Completing the Performance Process that includes: set and review objectives, regular performance and improvement management, consulting with the IT Server Operations Manager and other relevant parties;- Recruit team members and conduct the interviews in collaboration with local or remote HR as applicable;- Participate in the salary review process;- Contribute to the Annual IT Budget preparation by identifying and illustrating the training, travel and other budget-impacting needs required for the Server Operations team.▪ Make sure the work processes and procedures are globally and consistently applied across the team; ▪ Performing administrative leadership tasks for my team in all the remote centers and enlisting collaboration with local supervisors when needed, with the mention that for the Cluj based team, I am both functional and administrative lead. ▪ Ensure all new server additions to the Emerson Process Network adhere to the standard configuration.
