About Adrian Stoica
After graduating in Conceptual Fashion Design at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design, I started the womenswear brand des FILLES désir in Berlin, May 2021.With a focus on creation and an experimental approach to pattern cutting, des FILLES dèsir represents an alternative to mass produced clothing. As part of the slow fashion movement, garments are produced in small quantities or on a made-to-order basis. I am responsible for the artistic direction, management of all business related aspects as well as pattern cutting, fabric sourcing and production. As of October 2022 I started teaching as artistic associate at the department of textiles at the Technical University of Dortmund and relocated to Düsseldorf.Prior to launching des FILLES désir, I gained valuable insights at various Berlin brands such as BLESS and was able to showcase works at different exhibitions and formats.As of July 2022 I became member of the Fashion Council Germany.
