My Kolbe score really does explain a great deal about me: 4393I excel at working on, not working in marketing, there is a distinct difference in these two things but the smallest change has the biggest impact. Working “on” allows me to take a different view of a particular situation and deliver a process based on the required results. But I do fully appreciate that and idea is only that, it’s the application of it that will ultimately determine success. I believe and have been told I am exceptional when it comes to identifying opportunities to exploit in markets, especially in cross-media situations, and defining gaps that exist and that can be exploited as a result of really understanding what target customers will respond to.I love working with customers and partners, but don’t love clients; it may just be a definition and a broad-brush statement, but in my experience Customers are predictable and can be profitable, Partners share the rewards, risks and effort, but Clients want to use up time, rarely want a win-win situation and often want as much as they can of your knowledge for nothing.I am also open to the fact that I will alienate people, as the paragraph above may suggest, it’s not intentional, but without a strong opinion I never expect to see any progress and therefore I feel it is inevitable that some people will not agree with what I have to say. But if you don’t agree with me, I am always happy to listen and learn though, as I am addicted to improvement.
