Bookbot’s mission is to enhance children's reading abilities by supporting students in developing strong reading foundations. Bookbot acts as a digital reading tutor, merging speech recognition technology with an extensive reading program designed for school children to attain better literacy outcomes. By offering sophisticated tools for educators to track a child's reading progress and encourage ongoing growth, Bookbot solidifies the groundwork for lifelong learning and achievement. • Spearheaded the R&D in achieving the highest accuracy in speech recognition for reading applications, along with developing a natural speech synthesis processed in real-time on-device.• Strategically planned and managed programs and initiatives, including producing 3,000 children’s books, developing Bookbot reading and reports apps utilising learning engineering and lean principles, and implementing a digital literacy program for teachers.• Teamed up with UNICEF and the Ministry of Education to deliver the Bookbot program to over 10,000 students and teachers in rural Indonesia with previously underserved access to books.

During this period, my primary focus was on the software development lifecycle (SDLC), encompassing customer development, lean thinking, design, solution architecture, and data visualisation.I had the privilege of collaborating with organisations such as Dementia Australia, Diaverum, NSW Department of Education, Transurban, along with numerous start-ups.I used the opportunity to architect solutions with various cloud providers like Azure, AWS, and Google, honing my skills in pinpointing efficient, cost-effective, and scalable strategies for integrating micro-services and managed databases.I worked on:• Facilitating workshops to draft software designs, which were then developed into prototypes and tested with stakeholders, experts, and customers while incorporating their feedback.• Gathering relevant data for insights, testing the MVP with user groups, collecting feedback, and refining and iterating the process.• Evaluating key metrics in relation to goals, learning and iterating, reviewing code and documentation, and utilising retrospectives for continuous learning.

Appiphany is an iOS and Android app development company specialising in medical, environmental, publishing, and location-based apps for start-ups, organisations, governments, and enterprises.I trained producers and staff using well-documented project processes and mentored the team, harnessing their strengths to achieve superior development outcomes. My role involved architecting apps, designing wireframes, and drafting database schemas and web service specifications. I commissioned developers with precise acceptance criteria and provided creative direction through comprehensive design briefs. A strong emphasis was placed on overseeing user experience. To ensure the highest quality, I managed a robust testing regime that included quality assurance (QA), automated testing, and user accessibility testing (UAT).I produced over 70 applications for iPhone, iPad, and Android platforms. Among these was an enterprise application for Rio Tinto, which was widely adopted. Additionally, I released a Kidspot app, which reached over 400,000 users.

Luminary is known for work on complex web projects for leading Australian brands, undergoing digital transformation, user experience design, to digital marketing and managed cloud services. As part of the pre-sales process, I collected business requirements, managed accounts, and provided weekly reports on project status, including risks and progress. I also provided art direction for graphic designers and was responsible for producing HTML, CSS, Javascript, and front-end integrations with .Net developers. Over the course of my tenure, I successfully produced more than 50 websites, consistently meeting and often exceeding client briefs.
