- Builds relationships with Volunteers, IHG Partners, and Staff to become a trusted advisor and to ensure successful outcomes are produced- Manages assigned Working Groups and attends all of the meetings- Works collaboratively with the Chairs/Vice-Chairs, IHG Partners, Internal/External Consultants, and Staff, ensures each assigned Working Group operates within its Charter and attains its goals- Develops subject matter expertise and is a key contributor to the Working Groups.- Provides IHGOA perspective as appropriate during the Working Group’s deliberations, such as any historical precedents, relevant prior meeting minutes, or commonalities to related programs- Serves as a collaborative conduit between the Working Groups and various areas and functions of the IHGOA and IHG; collaborates with the Director, Meeting & Events to ensure seamless coordination of Working Group meetings, and with the Communications team on messaging and content for distribution to the membership- Ad hoc support for aspects of Working Group and Board Nomination Processes: Annual evaluation and rotation of Volunteers to identify open positions; Identification and solicitation of new Working Group members; Coordination with the Communications team to report on developments and successes for each working group - Manages the Owners Association’s Standards Endorsement Process for standards and the New Standards Launch Process

The Association works globally in partnership with IHG to improve revenue for our hotels, further strengthen the value of IHG’s brands and most importantly, enhance the experience for our guests. In 2011-2012, we will accomplish this by focusing on three guiding principles: • Increasing return on investment for all owners.
