I believe that wisdom and its application is infinite and deeply motivated to create lifelong opportunities for learning and application of knowledge.Adrian started off in the engineering field at a multi-national Company, Chartered Semi-Conductors Pte Ltd (now known as Global Foundries) in 1998 as an intern. He continued his career with the company as a technician after his national service in 2002. During his tenure in the Chartered he was involved in a number of projects varying from machine improvements to process improvements and cost savings. He was part of the team that set-up the company’s new Fab 7 plant start-up, which specialized in 12” wafer production.Recognizing the great potential in the hostel industry, he decided to switch his career by joining Footprints Hostel as a front desk guest service agent prior to its opening in Dec 2008.He was promoted to assistant manager within 1.5 years and moved on to become its General Manager a year after. During his time at Footprints, he has gathered extensive hospitality experience in operations, housekeeping, maintenance and sales&marketing.Adrian joined Bunc Hostel by Y-Hospitality IN October of 2011 during its initial planning, construction AND pre-opening stage. He was sent to Sydney, Australia for attachment with Accor Group’s Base Backpackers Hostel for a month. During his time there, he was being mentored its General Manager and was put into its different departments to learn how they run their day to day operations, understand their business model and insight into their marketing plans.Adrian joined the Radiance Hospitality Group when the Group acquired Bunc Hostel which was later renamed Bunc@Radius. He was given the chance to be involved in the Group’s business development (Hostels and F&B). During his time with Bunc@Radius he has successfully setup its second branch Bunc@Radius Clarke Quay and was also involved in the Group’s franchise project Bunc@Radius Chinatown KL.
