The culture of family, work and society have an effect on our state of wellness. As a culturally informed therapist, I strive to achieve wellness through supported exploration of the effects of culture on physical and emotional states. Wellness promotes healthy and informed decision-making, leading to more satisfying results. As a trained therapist, I support adolescents and adults find healing. Through motivational interviewing and other behavioral models such as CBT and DBT, I assist clients to clarify and pursue their goals. I am here to support your growth.You deserve to be heard. Past trauma can often be an obstacle to positive change. Trauma can keep us in a pattern of decision-making leading to dissatisfaction. My goal is to help identify how past traumas show up in present life. In a warm and inviting environment, we can explore your strengths and find wellness through healing.I welcome clients with varying issues such as depression, anxiety, and substance use. I have a background in teaching and personal health training and a passion for counseling. I am here to create a safe space with adults and adolescents to identify and pursue goals.
