I have developed the course "Geospatial Data Science: Manipulating, Analyzing, and Visualizing Spatial Data with Python," the first in a future series of Spatial Data Science courses on the Online Geomatics Academy platform: CAEG. This course is designed to provide students with a deep and practical understanding of spatial data science, combining advanced data analysis tools and techniques with a focus on using open-source technologies such as Python.Throughout the course, I guide students in the use of key libraries such as Pandas, GeoPandas, Rasterio, and Matplotlib, empowering participants to manipulate, analyze, and visualize spatial data. In this role, under a professional services contract, I have provided technical, pedagogical, and administrative support across various key processes within the ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) Secretariat. My work has focused on structuring and optimizing existing databases, as well as designing and delivering Python and SQL training sessions for all Secretariat staff, aimed at enhancing their skills in data analysis, cleansing, and visualization.Furthermore, I have spearheaded the creation of a preliminary version of an email usage policy for the Mayor's Office and conducted a comprehensive data analysis of major educational programs, including segregation by sex, age, and geographic location (communes and townships), in collaboration with entities such as SENA (National Learning Service). These initiatives have significantly contributed to process optimization and the strengthening of technical capabilities within the Mayor's Office.

Currently, I am working as a part-time Data Scientist on a real estate-focused data science project. My work involves data extraction and preprocessing using Python and various data science libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, requests, selenium and Scikit-learn. Following this, I conduct exploratory analysis and build machine learning models to identify trends and patterns in the real estate market.Furthermore, I utilize Power BI software for building interactive visualizations that aid in strategic investment decision-making. These visualizations provide a clear and concise understanding of the data, allowing decision-makers to evaluate different investment scenarios and opportunities.
