Responsibilities included syncing dailies, preparing multi-camera clips and organizing them by scene and setup for the editor. Assisted with pulling selects for scenes, sourcing sound elements, and making rough comps for temp VFX shots. Added English subtitles for Spanish scenes throughout the film. Maintained communication with all post departments during the picture edit process; worked with the VFX houses, Sound departments (for ADR, music, foley), and Deluxe Toronto (for color/online) to ensure a smooth post pipeline. Also responsible for overall project management in Avid Media Composer.

Site Supervisor for Focus On Youth's Virtual Ventures summer camp program.

Responsible for planning and operating the Virtual Ventures program as part of Focus On Youth's summer camp offerings. My program runs for two weeks; the first session is offered to a group of approx. 15 students grades 3 to 5, and the second session to approx. 15 students grades 6 to 8.I've prepared full lesson plans and activities featuring a variety of educational, technology-related topics, such as the history of motion pictures and camera tech, the evolution of art & music, video games theory and culture, the pros and cons of social media, how to recognize, prevent and defeat cyber bullying, and more.I teach various tutorials to the students, such as general iPad operation, how to create videos and movie trailers in Apple's iMovie app, as well as how to make music in Apple's GarageBand app.

Full-time summer employment position, responsible for the planning, organizing and teaching of educational material for Focus on Youth's summer technology camp, Virtual Ventures. I mentor a group of 8 high school student leaders, and delegate tasks on a daily basis to ensure the camp programming runs smoothly. I run three sections of the technology camp: the first for grades 6 to 8 students, and the second and third for grades 3 to 5 students. Some activities are focused on exploring the creative advantages of iPad technology and applications, such as iMovie and GarageBand. Another portion explores various forms of social media, such as YouTube, Facebook and Twitter, and how to be safe while utilizing their features; topics such as cyber bullying, identity protection and the power of the internet are discussed.

Contract project manager, animator and video editor for the Nelson E-Math+ (Plus) video series, consisting of over 200 tutorials. The series was offered as an exclusive, online tutorial service within the Ontario elementary educational system, intended as an additional mathematics learning tool. As project manager, I oversaw a team of 5 creatives. I was responsible for file tracking, organization and overall project management. I maintained communications with Nelson Education during the production stages, providing frequent progress updates, and notifying of any revisions that were being made.As animator and video editor, I worked with Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator and Photoshop. I assisted with the designing of various vector graphics to be used as examples in featured math problems. I reviewed the provided math problems and video scripts, animated each video, and pieced the various elements together as needed. I also assisted with editing the sound of the voiceover narration using Adobe Audition. As each video was completed, I would prepare the web-optimized export settings, and then send the files to Nelson Education's representative via FTP.

Full-time summer employment within the Information & Communications Technology department as an animator and editor for corporate, promotional and educational videos. Also supported the development of board-wide websites by creating and inserting content.

Responsible for handling large sums of money, counting tills, computer and paper work, as well as completing the daily store open and close. As the front-end supervisor, I was responsible for customer service care, authorizing cashier actions and delegating various tasks.
