Led by founder Adrian Hodges, the AHA team of associates works with companies to identify and address material ESG issues along extended value chains, specifically by aligning corporate social responsibility and sustainability commitments with opportunities to build competitive advantage, both at the corporate level and with consumer brands. AHA has been retained by blue-chip firms from a range of sectors, including Barclays, GSK, Haleon, Unilever, Pearson, Playtech, and has worked with civil society organisations, like GAIN, Oxfam, Save the Children, UN Women looking to partner more effectively with business. AHA has supported over 20 leading consumer brands - Dove, Dove Men+Care, Rexona, Sunsilk, Wall’s Ice Cream, Knorr, Lipton, Surf, Domestos, to name but a few – developing strategies and tactics for greater social impact across a wide range of social issues such as hair discrimination, toxic masculinity, barriers to inclusive physical activity, women’s unpaid care work, access to clean and safe toilets, etc. AHA has advised a number of global firms in benchmarking current practices and developing strategic and holistic approaches to DEI, for example as the lead advisor Unilever on approaches to women's empowerment / women's economic empowerment, both looking at the role of women in supply and retail chains, as well as linking consumer brands to gender issues that help build brand equity and contribute to market development.
