Recommendation Platform• I built the centralized Out-of-Network tweet candidate generation platform, which serves over millions of tweets per second. Tweets will be served across multiple product surfaces such as Home Timeline, Notification, Email, etc.

Recommendation Platform• I built a service that decides which Tweets are about Topics. This service is used by Home, Notifications, and Topic Landing Page. Also it provides topic features for Home ranker.

Revenue Science @RevSci, Ads Data Engineering Team• Built data warehouse solutions and data pipelines to make data better accessible and reliable while leveraging the largest-scale data processing technologies. Collaborated with a team of 10 to serve a variety of stakeholders.• Embarked on efforts to Partly Cloudy - to migrate on-premise Twitter stacks to the cloud. Explored and paved the way for teams to run Scalding jobs completely on GCP. Created comprehensive documentation for this new process.• Made new data product capturing admixer request data available. Helped teams to deprecate older data sources.• Optimized daily data rollup job to be scheduled hourly. Quicker experiment iteration speed. Stop deficient experiments within hours.

As a one-stop all-in-one capability platform, it offers a wide-range of products and services, including data integration, data development, data management, and data governance.---• Collaborated with a team of 20 to deploy and maintain the Data Warehousing PaaS, Dataworks, which supports the whole alibaba group including Taobao, Alipay and more. Dataworks provides one-stop development visualization (i.e. drag and drop), strong scheduling capability, and real-time task monitoring. • Optimized the scheduling process toward millions of workflow task nodes using DFS and pruning algorithms.• Implemented 10+ microservices APIs to support user-defined tasks monitoring of MaxCompute (offline, batch processing) and Apache Flink (real-time, stream processing).• Implemented real-time alarm services across several modules using DingTalk Chatbot APIs.• Applied real-time online plotting with Alibaba K-Monitor to track the RPS (requests per second), total execution time and other indicators in Dataworks.
