My role within the Energy & Transportation division is to enhance dealer capability for customers within the Oil & Gas industry. My primary territory consists of European dealers with product support and aftermarket responsibilities. Alongside dealer coverage I support Caterpillar marketing, product distribution, product development and manufacturing facilities. During training and development I have gained international experience in the United States, Middle East, Africa, and many European countries. My tasks, projects and initiatives include but are not limited to the following:- Collecting and analysing market information including customer requirements, market trends and conditions, competitive moves, etc. - Developing marketing and sales reports- Dealer and customer training and promotion activities including seminars, presentations, conferences, trade shows, online and printed publications, etc.- Market introduction for new products and customer solutions- Forecasting and planning process- Development and execution of business growth plans
