I work for RBC BlueBay Asset Management, helping develop business strategy and oversee our international business. Prior to a merger, I was one of the senior management team of our equity business, which more than quadrupled in assets, accounts and personnel while I was there. We engaged our first external clients, took on new regulators, grew a fund platform, dealt with a changing business and regulatory environment and become a £50b investment manager. I’m a strategic thinker with deep expertise in multiple areas of the asset management and finance industry. I have more financial, legal and governance experience than most and this gives me a great tool set for solving problems. I'm good at analysing, leading and improving businesses; I'm creative; I communicate; I work best with other people and focus on helping them, too. I’ve been registered with the FCA in multiple roles and interacted with them, and the SEC, successfully; I’m a qualified solicitor. I speak and participate in panels and conferences; I've been published by The Independent and The Telegraph. I'm an ex-start-up geek (and still an advisor and investor) and a CFA Charterholder.
