Life Whisperer uses artificial intelligence (AI) to assist clinicians identify viable embryos in IVF, and to ultimately improve outcomes for couples wanting to have children. Led research and development of privacy preserving AI models for robust detection, segmentation and classification of embryos for In-vitro Fertilisation (IVF) In this role, I developed and invented techniques for federated learning, which resulted in patents in Australia and the US.Principally responsible for system architecture, engineering and maintenance of critical internal software libraries for AI research, AI production systems and decentralised (federated) machine learning infrastructure. Principally responsible for the development of policies, procedures and engineering of data pipelines for research activities and data providence in accordance with ISO, HIPPA and regional medical regulations.Provided guidance, training and mentoring to junior staffWriting, editing and review of relevant publications and patents.

Gamer.AI was a real-time AI coaching tool that allowed E-Sports players from professionals to amateurs, to get detailed analytics based on their in-game performance. In this role I led research and development of: Real Time Object detection systems for applications in E-Sports, state of the art classifiers for in-game state, allowing for robust screen state detection (MXNet, Tensorflow, Keras) and models for predicting the outcome of E-Sports games (Pytorch).This included the design, optimisation and engineering of Machine Learning and Computer Vision models for real-time embedded application.This role included many leadership tasks, including; leading a small team, sprint planning for research tasks, organising facilities (office space) and organisation of outsourcing for data labelling and QA.
