Brand Marketing Insights Manager
CurrentWHO I WORK WITH:I am a part of McKinsey’s Brand Marketing Team within our Reach & Engage (marketing and communications) function. Our team includes the full spectrum of brand marketing capabilities, from brand strategy and brand design to marketing content, campaign management, paid media, and digital and social channels.WHAT I DO:I am responsible for setting measurement strategy and driving a measurement and insights program for McKinsey’s global Brand Marketing activities. Using various analytical and measurement tools and working in seamless partnership with our Technology function’s analytics team, I build an analytics capability for Brand Marketing that puts insights at the core of our work across the full lifecycle of marketing planning, design, activation, optimization, and ROI measurement. My work anchors around three interconnected areas: On web analytics, I work closely with our website team to support analytics requests related to global and practice/region micro-sites, helping to inform site creation, redesigns, and scale-backs. I set the agenda for several reporting cadences to provide transparency into how our marketing content reaches our priority audiences. On campaigns, I set and drive a consistent measurement methodology to capture our activities, performance, and ROI across the full marketing funnel. These campaigns range from full-scale, omnichannel Masterbrand-level campaigns where our team leads to smaller practice- or region-led campaigns where we support. On brand health, I establish a program that ensures we know how our brand is always perceived and how perception is shifting at a global and regional level, as a master and on priority topics. I drive alignment around the appropriate methodology, vendor(s), question/survey design, and own execution and share-outs across the firm. I ensure we use these insights to drive marketing priorities, campaign strategy, budgeting, etc.

Together, we support and guide clients to make lasting improvements to their performance and realize their most important goals. Corps Member
Teach For America recruits outstanding and diverse leaders to become TFA “corps members.” Corps members commit to teaching for two years in a low-income community, where they're employed by local schools and confront both the challenges and joys of expanding opportunities for kids. After two years, they become part of the TFA alumni network. Informed and inspired by their students, many continue teaching; others pursue other leadership roles in schools and school systems or launch careers in other fields that shape educational access and opportunity. Before joining Teach For America, only one in five corps members planned to become teachers and only 10 percent were education majors. But the corps experience brought them face-to-face with the challenges facing our schools and instilled in them a lifelong commitment to working on behalf of their students. Today, 85% of alumni are now working in education or careers serving low-income communities.Together with partners throughout the educational ecosystem, our alumni and corps members are helping achieve measurable student growth in and out of the classroom. They know there is no single solution to ending educational inequity, and they are providing grounded leadership and hard work from all career fields to expand opportunity for all.
