I provide technical advice to members from the animal by-products industries of the UK. This covers environmental, energy and animal by-products legislation and I represent FABRA UK at technical meetings with UK Regulators. I am also a member of the Technical Committee of the European Fat Processors and Renderers Association (EFPRA) and am representing them on the Technical Working Group of the Best Available Techniques (BAT Reference) Review (SA BREF) at the IPPC Bureau in Seville. I have developed EFPRA's Sustainability Charter due for launch in October 21.

I established Expirea Environmental Consultancy Ltd in July 2014.I have prepared environmental permit & variation applications for sites in several sectors, such as hazardous waste, surface treatment and meat processing and have advised them on associated regulatory aspects and management systems.
