I initially supported CEO of UBS Singapore as a Business Manager with a gradual move into risk management roles post GFC. I led a team of five to support UBS Singapore on key risk focus areas (e.g. regulatory audit preparation, front office risk support, etc.). Other responsibilities / achievements:• I achieved the best regulatory risk score by enhancing the effectiveness and sustainability of the internal control plans, providing training and performing quality assurance which was recognized through the nomination into the UBS Dragon's Club Asia Pacific • I implemented various risk mitigation measures such as AML- and Investment Suitability spot checks and set up and ran tailored trainings to raise risk awareness • I was a Key Project Member during the setup of the India Domestic Branch and implemented the Dubai business stream (Advisory Office) • I was actively involved in successful initial set up of Support Functions in Singapore & Hong Kong • I was actively involved in other Change Management activities in Singapore and Hong Kong such as the Markets Process Board and monthly communication meetings
