I led the digital teams in charge of development, architecture and digital analytics.Cencosud Scotiabank Joint Venture, is a Retail Finance company that offers credit cards, loans, and insurances. Number of credit cards: 2MM. The second issuer in Chile in terms of Credit Cards.• I have set up the teams for digital architecture, development, analytics, big data, datalake, core api, mobile platforms, wallet, and webs in 3 months.• I have led the technological and tactic adjustments over the current web and microservices platforms increasing radically our sales in 12 months. With these actions, we built a tech bridge that let us to create a roadmap and build all the new digital products.• I work closely with Cencosud Retail (Jumbo, Paris, Easy) in order to find the best business and technological integrations to leverage our digital businesses.• My team and I, design digital solutions in a complex ecosystem of legacy and cutting-edge systems trying to find a delicate balance between these cutting edge technologies, legacy integrations, and time to market.• I also lead the team in charge of Dynamics 365 CRM SaaS enabled by a microservice platform. This platform supports our Brick & Mortar operations.• We implemented effectively IA technology. Currently the next best offer for our customers is based on an IA platform.

I led the application and development teams (Near to 100 engineers, architects and Business Analysts) supporting all company systems. Garbarino was the second Argentinian electronic retail behind Mercado Libre (AR). Revenue USD 416 M(Annual), more than 4000 employees.• I have completely restructured the development, architecture and operations area to face a full & hostile Mulesoft acquisition of our external digital factory (Tek-Genesis). This action let us decrease our development & architectural costs by 30% increasing radically the service levels, quality and productivity. Since then, no outage in massive events like Cybermonday, Black Friday, etc. happened again.• We implement, based on the current e-commerce and core platforms a complete marketplace in 8 months (PIM, Seller Center, Sales, BackOffice, Logistics)• We improved the availability SLA for our core platforms from 70% to levels closed to 99%. Increasing sales by 15% due to this new stability.• I led negotiations and implementations of several digital payment methods, Mercado Pago QR / Point, PIM among others.• We completed a full transactional switch deploy with EMV technology, becoming merchant PCI compliance immediately.

In this second stage at Gefco I was the Regional CTO focused on Brazil, México, Argentina and Chile.Gefco is the largest European logistics car operator and a top 10 worldwide in terms of Multimodal / Industrial Supply Chain. Revenue: € 4.6 Bn . EBITDA: €106 MM EBITDA. +13000 Employees.• We designed and implemented the IT solution that supports the truck & bus distribution logistics operations at MAN/Volkswagen Brazil (The largest truck & bus manufacturer in South America (80000+ vehicles per year).• We migrate the whole internal / external WEB sites to a new Architecture.• We implemented a regional project for electronic invoicing in Argentina, Chile y México.• We migrated the Importation, Exportation and Damage control systems in Brazil from legacy and monolithic system to App / Web Applications.• We expand the TMS & WMS platforms into the region with more than de 100 industrial customers active (Ford, Kia, Peugeot, Fiat, among others.)• We merge from the IT point of view all LATAM international transport operations into a single company.

As a CIO I led the Argentinian IT operation, reporting to the Argentinian MD (also Regional VP) and to the Corporate/Divisional TI department. Additionally, I was technological and IT management counselor for the rest of the South Latin America Division (Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Perú, Uruguay).• I was member of the steering committee leading an operation of 14.000 employees, 224 restaurants. EBITDA: USD 10+ MM year.• I optimized by 30% the P&L costs by renegotiating the whole IT contracts and transforming the area. We reduced operational costs, improving at the same time the services levels by 30%. I help the Brazilian market on the same matter. Argentina P&L: USD 8.000.000.• We implemented the new operational applications that today supports all the innovations that customers can see in McDonald’s LATAM. Self-Order Kiosks are just an example.• We completely replaced the credit/debit card transactional gateway by implementing a new solution that increase by 18% the credit card shared.• We certified PCI Merchant level 1 (The most complex level of certification in a Merchant due to the massive level of transactions).• We merge the help desk and IT operations for 7 countries (Argentina, Uruguay, Ecuador, Chile, Perú, Colombia y Venezuela) from IBM to HP in an environment extremely complex due to the large portion of legacy systems.• I led the company expansion by 20%, from a technological point of view, in 2 years.

I set-up and led the Barcelona/04 - Tango/04 regional product, technology, and development teams that design and create cutting edge technologies and products for the largest companies across the globe. Our customers were largest banks, financial, insurance, and health institutions among others.• I design and create a scalable SIEM reporting solution used for largest companies to comply with SOX, PCI and other regulations. Our solutions were included on the 2011 Gartner Magic Quadrant for SIEM solutions.• We designed and built technological products and solutions for Technology and Business Process Monitoring.• I led pre-sales, sales and have implemented projects related to compliance and Business Process Monitoring in several companies highlighting: - Bayer Cropscience. (Argentine – Business monitoring process for the Agrochemical business) - Bank Atlántida (Honduras – IT infrastructure / Security monitoring) - Bank Votorantim (Brazil - IT infrastructure / Security monitoring) - Banking Group Petersen (Argentine – IT infrastructure / Security monitoring) - Zurich (Argentine / Spain - Business monitoring process for the insurance process) - Bank Bradesco (Brazil – IT infrastructure monitoring)

I led the development and application teams focused on the Supermarkets’ POS, E-commerce, and Backoffice Systems.• I led and implement the e-commerce sites for Cencosud supermarkets in Argentina.• I led and implement the loyalty program.• I led the setup and start-up of the company’s credit card in partnership with Mastercard.• I was in charge of supporting and evolving the whole supermarkets POS & BackOffice Systems.

In this first stage, I led the spin-off of the logistics operations into a completely new company from Peugeot. I design, setup, and later managed the development and architecture team.I have designed, built and implemented:• The warehouse and distribution systems for automotive logistics to Ford, KIA, Peugeot, Citröen, Toyota among others (Argentina / Brazil / Chile)• The TMS and WMS for several customers from the logistics industrial operator point of view. Our TMS and WMS managed several customers with its different particularities in the same system.• The Web sites for regional customers and suppliers.• The ERP system (invoicing, Accounting, AP, AR, etc.).• The systems for importation and exportation (Overland, Overseas and Air assisted operations)

I led the technology, infrastructure and networking team highlighting the following projects:• Wintel datacenters migration (servers, databases, operating systems and networks).• Roll out of the foreign trade system.• Roll out of the WAN (Frame Relay) branch network. Migration of the legacy token ring network into an Ethernet network.• Roll out of the perimeter IT security (Firewalls: Checkpoint and CISCO PIX)• Implementation of the bank massive images scans repository• Project leader for the core system migration project (Mainframe to Unix (COBIS))

I've implemented and supported the ERP Baan platform, I work in several roles such as analyst, developer, team leader. I was part of a reduced but high- performance team that took the control of a massive project implemented by more that 100 Engineers, to stabilize and evolve it.
