I joined in December 2019 to Project Manage the migration of their Finance and Procurement system from their legacy provider to Oracle Cloud ERP run by North East Partnership (NEP). This was a very fast paced migration forced upon NUTH by their legacy provider. We went live in record time on 28th Feb and ran year end in the new NEP system Mar/April. The plan was to follow on in May 2020 with Phase 2 to take new modules with additional functionality Live but the pressures of Covid-19 prevented this option being taken up.

I am a life long friend of one of the founders and I have been helping them set up this new business venture My main role has been setting up HR, Payroll and Finance systems from scratch and recruit key personnel. Hurray, I finally found a suitable interim role 10 miles from home. I worked for Serco ASP as a Senior Project Manager from 29 February to 31 December 2016 on a fixed term contract. Serco ASP provide back office services to 12 NHS Trusts located in East Anglia and West Sussex - Finance, Payroll, HR, HRsupport etc. My role was to project manage the upgrade to the Intega Finance system from Integra 1 client server to a web based Integra 2 system. The Integra 2 software was at beta development stage and we had to develop and test a "Golden Client" which was signed off and we commenced roll out to the NHS clients.I left when my contract was due to finish and I have taken time out for extensive travelling. I am now looking for a new interim role from October 2017 onwards

I have just finished a project with Northern Powergrid and I plan to take time off this summer and look for another short or medium assignment from September/October onwards.Northern Powergrid implemented Oracle HCM in March 2013 to comply with HMRC RTi to replace an aging Midland Software system. 18 months on they had a large number of ongoing issues preventing them from achieving the benefits outlined in the original Project Initiation Document. I was leading a project for HR (working closely with Payroll) to identify and correct problems with Oracle HCM. The aim was to deliver the benefits that had remained beyond reach.My initial contract was for 3 months, this was extended a further 2 months. Northern Powergrid are a great client to work for.

I took on an interim assignment for six months with Housing Plus to implement a new HR & Payroll system using Carval software. Housing Plus Group include - Housing Plus, South Staffordshire Housing Association, Care Plus (Care provider) and Property Care (Property Maintenance). The client wished to replace their ageing Chris21 system from Frontier Software. They has decided to purchase Carval but their project had not really moved on from the tender stage. I was appointed as in interim to use my HRIS and Prince2 experience to kick-start the EIS project. In 6 months we signed the contract, installed the software, migrated legacy data, tested HR and Payroll thoroughly and went live as planned in April 2014 with HR, Payroll, Learning & Development and Self Service.I took planned summer break and commenced a new assignment in the autumn.

Specific tasks include HR Self Service, Disciplinary & Grievance, Capability Management, Conditions of Service, Personnel Boards, HR Service to 54 Schools (in accordance with an agreed SLA), Establishment Control, Recruitment, Redeployment, Pre Employment Checks – CRB, RTW, Contracts of Employment, Employee Records, Salary Administration, Job Evaluation and Training Administration. In addition we provided the HR Service to the East London Waste Authority and East London Solutions.I also represented LBBD HR and Payroll on Programme Athena and I lead a project to re-engineer the business processes and TUPE the 35 HR staff reporting to me into Elevate East London Solutions.

McKesson were the biggest supplier of legacy HR systems in the NHS and they took over the ESR project from PWC.
