The show reached record audience levels during my time producing the show• Lead producer on the shows night time lead football show ‘Sportsbar’, achieving record listenership figures within three months – 25% increase year on year and 3% on the quarter.• Sole producer for the influential weekly show Press Pass with Des Kelly – covering some of the most high profiles sporting events of the last year including The Premier League, Wimbledon, Royal Ascot • Uniquely positioned to produce other shows such as Keys & Gray, Call Collymore & Match Day Live broadcasting live Premier League, Champions League and FIFA World Cup football.

I secured a range of high profile guests from across the globe on minimum budget by building relationships with governing bodies, agents, sports stars and musicians. • Given a brief to deliver a social media footprint for 5Live. In response, I developed and produced a weekly 30 min world football show called ‘Booted’ of which the content and talent were driven solely by social media. The show introduced the best new bloggers and podcasters discussing untold stories from the world of football. This was entirely my own programme, leading to discussion of 5Live programming on social media, increased followers and posting on our output and as a direct consequence of the programme it has unearthed new talent that is now used regularly across BBC Sport.

Key achievements IMG: Assistant Producer• Worked with a team to producer a documentary called “Eric Cantona - Looking for Manchester” aired on ITV1 on November 8th 2010 and Canal Plus. Co-produced by IMG and Canto Bros. I sourced all talent, managed the logistics, accompanied main producers and found locations due to my football contacts in the area.• Assistant producer for The Official Olympic Series. My role included arranging interviews, suggesting ideas for content, directing shoots, selecting material for edits and developing a working knowledge for editing programmes. Channel M – Presenter• Due to my background in sport I had a regular slot presenting sport on GMG owned, Manchester based, Channel M Breakfast Show before it ceased broadcasting. All Out Productions – Presenter and Producer• I researched; programme developed, produced and presented a radio documentary about Muhammad Ali who, like me has roots in Ireland and Africa, for the BBC. The show aired on BBC World Service and was made the list for programmes of the year in 2009.
