I have always known that flying was my destiny. I have been flying for over 30 years and in 2016 I was privileged to be awarded an Order of Australia Medal for services to Aviation. I am honoured to have been a part of the aviation industry for many years and count promoting interest in flying among young people, consulting to government/s on aviation and flight training issues and founding Tristar Aviation with my husband Geoff as my major achievements.I am a strategic thinker and enjoy listening to stakeholders and finding solutions. I am quiet and calm leader and have relished the opportunity to develop, implement and monitor business and marketing plans, as well as to achieve success as a woman in a male dominated industry.My experience dealing with government and exporting flight training courses throughout Asia and India has taught me the importance of establishing cooperative relationships and presenting a clear and concise message.
