•Meet and consult with client and groups to plan and organize assigned meetings and/or events•Coordinate activities with the various service contractors for assigned meetings and/or events•Guide clients in preparation of events by interpreting and explaining contract provisions, policies and procedures•Keep clients informed as to status of deadline schedules, including but not limited to floor plan submissions, meeting room set-up specifications, insurance requirements and other relevant details•Responsible for communicating event details to all required internal and external contacts to ensure events are effectively coordinated to meet and exceed customer expectations•Prepare cost estimates and monitors final billing•Provide clear, concise, and timely communication of detailed requirements to operational departments•Oversee all aspects of facility operations related to events•Produce event orders, reports, diagrams, outlining event requirements concerning facilities, equipment, catering needs•Monitor in-house events, maintaining close contact with clients and facility staff to ensure successful events•Follow-up on all client requests, concerns, and problems•Work with center staff and others to resolve any outstanding issues•Attend appropriate planning, organization, event and facility meetings in support of center operations•Ensure customer satisfaction throughout event planning process and during event•Schedule union labor for all events and meetings according to logistical needs•Assist colleagues, directors and general manger with other duties that may be assigned
