A innovative and dynamic facilitator/public health professional with a focused leadership style that comes from a history of managing local and state programs, designing and implementing leadership trainings, leading teams to develop sustainable strategies to provide people-centered equitable health-care. I appreciate working with healthcare entities and government leaders to engage communities most impacted by healthcare disparities and developing policies and systems that reduces barriers to care, increase access to healthcare resources, and ensure staff have the skills and tools to be successful in their roles. I enjoy identifying and/or building up capacities of organizations to execute a realistic vision and supporting individuals and institutions with social justice motivations and foundations. Leaning not only on my professional skills but also my lived experience as a Black gay man living with HIV, I have a demonstrated ability to support teams and institutions in building capacity to improve services. Creativity, innovative approaches and having a people centered and innovative programming mindset, to promote awareness, accountability and organizational advancement is what has contributed to my success.
