I coordinate and teach in Certificate III and IV in Fitness qualification courses. As a coordinator, I am responsible for planning content delivery, assessments and marking schedules to ensure students enjoy a client-focused learning journey. I also liaise with a team of teachers across two campuses with collaboration, efficient communication and tasks division to ensure they bring their best when teaching. As a teacher, I use 20 years of industry experience, evidence-based practice and information as a Fitness professional, Yoga instructor and Small Business owner to get students industry-ready.

I was responsible for teaching and assessing Certificate III and IV in Fitness, Certificate IV in Yoga courses. In both Fitness and Yoga courses, I delivered theory and practical classes with the provided resources relevant to the units of competency. I added my own knowledge and experience from 20 years as a Fitness professional, Yoga instructor and Small Business owner. Working across morning, afternoon and night classes developed an excellent sense of time management and task prioritisation. Most importantly, having students from diverse cultures and backgrounds required constant acknowledgement of LLN needs and empathy to assist them in succeeding.
