About Adriano Gilnei Winck

I am a person who likes a lot the IT field. In 2004, I started to work on a software house and my college as well. So, I was working during the day and going to the college at night. That daily routine and hard work required considerable sacrifice and determination but it also forged very valuable traits of ownership, commitment, urgency, and responsibility. Those values, along with my ability to learn new things fast, ability to focus on different abstraction levels (ranging from user-centric to code details) and great communication skills made me a professional able to fulfill cross-functional roles (backend dev., full stack dev., feature leader and focal point), building a strong connection to the importance of delivering customer value/satisfaction in the expected timeline.During my professional journey, I have worked on projects with different sizes and totally different contexts. Such experience gave the opportunity to work well with different kind of teams and other subject matter experts as well as build a strong technical understanding of the code base and the domain. On several occasions I had to take the initiative to do a lot of proactive work and also to prototype complex user stories during the design phase, reducing the time involved in the design review process and mitigating the risks for the implementation.The R&D projects I have worked on as well as the work across user stories also allowed me to enhance the ability to switch the context quickly, making me a professional who finds no difficulty in terms of dynamic work. This is a very important value, especially in the agile field, where there is no "one size fits all" solution. Several times I had to deal with challenging situations where the requirements had changed in the middle of the development phase, making me adaptable and forcing me to always think ahead, balancing the agile principles against the traits and constraints of the organization structure and culture.
