• Lead a dedicated team of sales and customer service executives to engage and grow DHgate business buyers and suppliers in Brazil and Latin America.• Oversee effort to build a localized micro e-marketplace in Portuguese language, working closely with DHgate UE, design and engineering teams.• Manage process of optimizing user experience for Portuguese language site and localization of marketplace product selection.• Plan and implement local language onsite marketing and eDM campaigns in Portuguese, provide regular channel of fresh sourcing ideas to DHgate Brazil business buyers.• Build an active online SNS community for Brazil buyers, proactively cultivate and support direct relationships with large individual buyer accounts.• Formulate and carry out DHgate expansion strategy in Brazil and Latin America through marketing, panelist in seminars (e.g. http://pymeapec.org/?page_id=49) and strategic alliance partnerships.• Building and marketing collections for jewelry, bags and accessories for US market.• Oversee and manage the sourcing department.

• Building/marketing collection and management. • Locate and form relationships with quality factories for manufacturing products with high quality standards.• Responsible for Supplier sourcing: including factory compliance audits, production capacity evaluation, pricing comparisons, payment term settling, and detailed and complete supplier profile reporting.• Responsible for new style development: including new technical file auditing, sampling follow up and price negotiation.• Responsible for bulk production follow up: including in-line production checking, quality control, production status report and meeting delivery deadlines. Take responsibility for the resolution of supplier production problems.

• Locating superior factories for our products, ensuring that quality standards were met.• Responsible for Supplier sourcing: including factory audits, production capacity evaluation, pricing comparison, payment term settling, and detailed and complete supplier profile reporting.• Responsible for order placing, order follow-ups, daily contact with suppliers.• Worked with more than 25 factories to have the best product, price and delivery.• Worked closely with the development department to make sure the sample deadlines were achieved in order that the bulk production timeline was not affected.• Responsible for the entire business when the General Manager was absent.Achievements• I was a start-up Executive for this company, production went from 0 to 10 milion pairs of shoes p.a. in 3 years.• I set up the initial business premises, and when the company grew beyond that I was responsible for setting up much larger premises which went on to accommodate more than 200 staff• I hired new staff members, trained them and built them into work teams.• I achieved the overall status of being the principal link between the General Manager and all the work teams.
