• Managing a portfolio of customers, understanding their AWS environments, and ensuring their workloads are running optimally around backups, monitoring, and patching; Such environments involve a range of technologies, such as EKS, ECS, Lambda, EB, EC2s, RDS, Elasticache, Redshift;• Lead Cloud Operations continuous improvement projects and create automated solutions in various languages, as well as continuous assistance in maintaining them (Bash, PowerShell, Python);• Working with IaC tools such as Terraform and Chef, building solutions per customer request and reviewing/deploying them in production environments running on AWS;• Working with Jenkins, Gitlab pipelines, AWS Codepipeline for customer environments, troubleshooting and maintaining them;• Working with internal teams to implement improvements in customer environments; validatebackup schedules, assign monitoring defaults and thresholds, as well as working on patching cadences;• Hands-on and overseeing work related to Cloud Operations customer onboarding implementation; ensuring the customer's environment will be aligned with monitoring, backups, patching solutions and documentation throughout the onboarding workflow;• Ensuring Cloud Operations processes (internal and external) are documented and runbooks are updated;• Reviewing Problem Management tickets, Root Cause Analysis reports and overall customer alerts toidentify improvement opportunities, recommend action plan, and lead implementation on them, as well as hands-on work on them as needed in order to build such tickets and/or reports;• Providing technical guidance and ensuring best practices for AWS infrastructure implementations, both internally to the Service Delivery teams and to customer-related teams. Such implementations may involve provisioning requests and ad hoc requests (as in Professional Services);• Participating in on-call rotation to assist with technical escalations as well as leading on Major Incidents.

• Perform daily system monitoring using Site24x7 and New Relic, troubleshooting for a number of AWS Cloud-based environments - which includes verifying the integrity and availability of AWS Cloud infrastructure, server resources, systems, key processes and applications as well as their logs, completion of scheduled jobs such as backups, batch processing and other tasks SRE/Operations tasks;• Manage and configure a multitude of AWS services, such as EC2s, RDS, Elastic Beanstalks, VPCs, VPN, Route53, CloudFront, S3, ACM and Load Balancers;• System administration of Linux and Windows servers, including but not limited to different types of services, such as IIS, Tomcat, Apache, NGINX and Haproxy;• Assistance in managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and software deployment pipelines using Terraform, Jenkins, Chef and code versioning through GIT, and peer reviewing merge requests.• Provide support in finding automation opportunities and kickstart work on automating such recurring tasks, working with scripting languages such as Python, Bash and Powershell;• Train and mentor Cloud Operations Engineers and Service Desk Engineers, building and iterating through existing technical documentation to further enable entry level engineers, as well as serving as a technical escalation point;• Communicate and perform technical troubleshooting with external (customers) and internal teams;• Write runbooks with common steps to be executed for certain tasks, as well as maintaining runbooks pertaining to maintenance cycles, troubleshooting issues and environment documentation;• Perform Root Cause Analysis;• Execute regular maintenance and change request implementation.
