I started my career 6years ago as an intern at Leica - Aparelhos Ópticos de Precisão, S.A. This experience, as an intern, allowed me to understand the industrial reality to complement my education in the mechanical engineering area, where I developed my Master thesis entitled "Decrease of the final rejection rate in a camera assembly line". I've continued my education with different courses such as quality tools (FMEAS, 8D reports and so on) and a REFA module (Methods and Times).After the end of my internship I've started as quality engineer at Leica, in the same area, with a support role in quality/process issues analysis and later assumed the position of responsible of product quality. In this position I dealt with multiple processes as an active part in quality planning and process improvements. With this background the transition to process engineering was only a formality due to my profile that is more oriented to practical activity. That allows me to work directly in the most iconic camera from Leica company whom I'm very proud to be an active part on its improvement every day.I believe that I'm a result driven person that believes that systematic and well stablished processes enable their continuous development. Besides that, my experience with different situations improved my versatility, characteristic that it's essential in today’s challenges. I have good social skills, I speak English and Portuguese, I can speak and understand some degree of German and I'm an advance user on excel and other Microsoft tools, I've good knowledge in 3D modeling software and I have basic knowledge in programing languages (Labview and Matlab).
