Adrian leads the IT function for Ireland’s leading youth organisation, reporting to Senior Management team. Adrian worked during a period of major change – business doubled store numbers, opened 2 Distribution Centres, extended HQ, and overhauled store IT systems twice.• Was hired as IT Support. Supported HQ and 3 warehouses, remote and onsite (300 users, 160 PC’s, 37 servers).• Promoted to Retail Systems Manager, 2005. Managed IT systems and infrastructure (130 stores in NI/ROI).• Relationship managed 3rd party service provider that provided day to day support for retail units: specified, audited, negotiated and oversaw work.• Led rollout of new till and back-office solution, and associated upgrade of store infrastructure - IT rack, Cat 5e cabling, switches, wireless access points, DSL routers to provide reliable VPN network solution.• Part of team that tested and rolled out Chip and Pin solution, using Thales terminals. • Organised IT fit-outs of 40+ new stores, meeting aggressive store opening timelines.
