I embarked on a high-throughput, small molecule, drug discovery campaign against the G protein beta-gamma heterodimer. Compounds were assessed through primary screen and counterscreen as well as a suite of secondary signalling assays. This work was funded in-part from my authorship of 2 competitively-funded grants and establishment of a collaboration with medicinal chemistry and drug discovery specialists.
