  • The University Of Lincoln, School Of Engineering

The University Of Lincoln, School Of Engineering Sep 2016 - Sep 2017
    Lincoln, United Kingdom
My work consisted, largely, of creating digital media and promotional material to promote the School of Engineering, in-keeping with the schools Unique Selling Points. It also required me to keep up to date with the Schools´ applications across the university, and be able to act upon it swiftly and appropriately. Developing this mixed skill-set allowed me to help the school to increase student applications and acceptances. It has also required me to become well versed in the efforts of administration and project management through efforts of delivering content on time. The main roles and responsibilities that I worked on day to day included copywriting and blog management throughout the school of engineering's wordpress site. It was my role to make sure that there was a constant flow of content being published onto the schools blog. I also worked on the blogs design in correlation to the universities branding guidelines. Photography & Videography were also some of my main roles within the school, I was often called upon to take photos/videos of various projects and publish them through various media platforms as content, this content was in turn used to market the School of Engineering for student recruitment. These photos and videos were published throughout the School of Engineering’s wordpress site, the University of Lincoln's YouTube channel and also The University of Lincoln's website. Project Management & admin was one of my daily tasks as I had to meet with the College of Sciences central marketing team to discuss strategies, campaigns and how we're going to implement them/ how to alter our content and scheduling when we will publish it.
