Originally from New York, I graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh in 2012 with a Bachelor's degree in Studio Art (Graphic Design concentration) and a minor in Art History. From 2012-2014, I worked as a freelance graphic designer and Art teacher to all manner of students aged 6 to adults. In the fall of 2014, I took an opportunity through my university to teach abroad as a university English professor in Ningbo, China. I currently teach there, and I love what I do as well as the community that I've been introduced to.About my art career: I focus mainly on digital design work utilizing the Adobe suite, Maya, 3dsmax, and other software to create vector and raster images for small and large print media, as well as web-format graphics. I've been a lifelong fan of literary illustrations, and typically create work with a narrative style in mind, however, I am also experienced in working with typography, logos and other publication design as well. I have taken a lifelong interest in art because I enjoy the creative process; From concept to fruition, seeing one's idea come alive is one of the greatest experiences a person can ask for, and becoming an artist has allowed me to surround myself with this process.
