As an R&D manager, these are some of my responsibilities and authorities:Lead the team in charge of smart technologies’ prototypes now using 3D Design & Electronics and Advance Knitting Capabilities.Coordinate DOE’s and/or any other statistical study, collect, analyze and present data.Coordinate cross-functional new product development teams aligned with NPD initiatives.Develop and maintain proficiency in operating, adjusting, and maintaining all types of Ansell R&D equipment.Coordinate the evaluation of new and existing yarn, fabric, materials, equipment, electronics, sensors, etc.Produce, evaluate and test concept gloves, clothing, and related Ansell products as directed.Coordinate product failure and root cause analysis activities.Maintain on-site R&D yarn, materials, and liner/glove inventory.Collect and analyze relevant project data.Provide general oversight, maintenance, and housekeeping for R&D assets.Supervise and Coordinate global validation/scale-up/commercialization efforts.Comply with all company safety and environmental protection policies.Coordinate and arrange misc. shipping and handling activities related to R&D activities.Participate in project review and departmental meetings as directed.Provide input to project-specific reports as directed.As an R&D manager, I work very closely with the R&D Engineers, Specialists, Technicians, and Interns as well as a variety of cross-functional team members, Ansell manufacturing facilities, suppliers, and strategic external manufacturing partners.Based on R&D Ansell Mexico but in collaboration with R&D centers around the globe.
