CurrentI am head of the London real estate group at DMH Stallard LLP, responsible for leading and supervising a large team of fee earners and support staff.I practice all core areas of commercial real estate law but specialise in:-- Acquisitions, disposals and lettings for institutional investors and property investment companies.- Legal management of property portfolios and shopping centres.- Acting for developers and investment funds on the development and refinance of sites.- Acting for landlords and tenants on the leasing of office, retail and warehousing space.- Acting for restaurateurs and hoteliers on the acquisition and disposal of restaurants and hotels.- Acting for lending institutions advising on all real estate issues involved with the financing and re-financing of real estate assets. A few of my recent transactions include:-- Acting for a private limited company on the acquisition of a site on the edge of the Olympic complex with a view to developing a mixed use residential and commercial scheme with an estimated development value of circa £40 million.- Advising a landowner on a Promotions Agreement and an Option Agreement in respect of a residential development with a development value of approximately £60 million. - Acting for a property investor on the acquisition of a multi let office building in London with an investment value of circa £25 million.
