I have had the privilege of being a trustee and recently the Chairman at the THF for more than 8 years, I have now accepted a contract as GM with the THF, the reason for this change as it was timely with our recent resignation of our previous GM, and our current fundraising project value of $25M for enhancements to the $400M+ Stage 2 Project Maunga East Wing is the biggest ever!With this in mind, the board has approved three new contract positions to help us achieve our target and I will be responsible for hiring and creating the structure, processes and targets to support these new roles. So the next 3 years will be very exciting and I am looking forward to the challenge of expanding the THF team and even more community engagement around the 'why', 'what' and 'how' we do what we do!

Trackitportal.com designed, engineered and built a bespoke Cloud-based logistics solution called ‘Trackit Energy’ to move people and things mainly on and offshore, and after success in NZ and Australia since 2012, it was decided to go global in 2015. I was hired to lead the team to make the software world-class ‘Cloud or SaaS’ and the preferred solution provider in the Oil & Gas sector. My remit was on company performance financially, governance (board reporting and processes) capital raising (IMO), Callaghan and NZTE Grant ready and in parallel making sure the company has an enterprise-grade software solution that is scalable, reliable and supportable globally 24x365 and of course that the platform could handle investment scrutiny, this was a huge task but one that I and the team achieved.From a sales perspective, we had many challenges through the 4 years, distance from our core markets in ASEAN and USA, culture differences, sales acumen selling to the c-suite, budget restraints but we overcame many of these through being agile and innovative. We have since secured many blue-chip companies like BHP, Chevron, Shell and Trackit Energy is well on its way to being the Number 1 O&G logistics platform in the world.

Peru Cafe is a New Plymouth based company that is an importer of premium organic fairtrade green coffee, and roasts and retails that coffee through www.inca-fe.co.nz and www.icoco.co.nz two premium market brands of roast coffee in NZ.We support the foodservice and FMCG industries plus we have a specialised contract roasting arm for clients that require their own branded coffee. We also export FMCG to the Pacific Islands and Australia.I worked with a wonderful group of people and the owners Joop and Carmen Verbeek are very passionate about the industry and we all love coffee :)

WebFarm Ltd which is owned 100% by ICONZ NZ, Webfarm ltd is responsible for the following premium domain and web hosting brands, WebFarm, FreeParking and 2day.com and held the NZ reseller rights to Worldpay. Collectively these brands have a large market section of the domain and webhosting industry and thus were leaders in their respected fields.My job was GM of this group reporting back to the Sean Weeks the COO at the time, It was an exciting position working with a great team both in New Plymouth and Auckland and one that allowed growth through creativity and continual innovation and first to the market of products the market wanted.

Telecom is New Zealand’s largest Telecommunications Company which supplies a wide variety of services from phone and data lines to mobile services and also owns XTRA, New Zealand’s largest ISP. Telecom is now also a major player in the IT field through its acquisition of Gen-i.I really enjoyed my time at Telecom working with business owners and IT teams through out Taranaki and Wanganui.
