Adrian Carter is an experienced lawyer, consultant and leader with expertise across both the public and private sectors. His experience includes two decades in the Australian Defence Force as a Legal Officer, Aviation Officer / Pilot, Project Manager and Policy Advisor. He has worked as a Solicitor at top tier law firm Herbert Smith Freehills and as a Sessional Academic at Griffith University. He is also an experienced company secretary and director. Adrian is an accredited risk and governance advisor, with project management experience in the defence and aviation environment. He is experienced in leading and providing legal, policy, corporate, management, strategy and technical advice to the public and private sectors, with a demonstrated ability to provide solutions to complex, strategic and politically sensitive problems.Adrian is a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia and Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
