Over five years with TCDS I oversaw a wide range of academic programs at one of the New Schools original research centers, building on over 25 years of civically engaged critical research in the United States, Europe, and South Africa. I organized TCDS’s flagship international study program-the Democracy & Diversity Institute-annually in Wrocław, Poland and once in Johannesburg, South Africa. I also implemented a new communications strategy helping TCDS to communicate with its large network, including 1,700 alumni, through social media, primarily Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. During my tenure, TCDS also widened the scope of its programs by increasing development from $25,000 annually to over $100,000 annually.
