Currently, I direct designated projects/programs including the design and execution of strategic initiatives to direct operational excellence across two sites (Baytown II and Baytown III). Furthermore, I coordinate a team of 15-20 employees consisting of Resident Contractors, Operators, Instrument Technicians, and Mechanical technicians. In addition to attending meetings/reviews to gather requirements and develop plans, I formulate and distribute schedules/workflows as well as organize outage timing in coordination with customers. Other duties include contributing to Human Resource (HR) processes by facilitating Operator training and devising and executing career progression plans to advance Operators from Level 4 to Level 1 (Console). Finally, I regulate adherence to OSHA/TCEQ compliance and incorporate check sheets and drills to promote zero-tolerance policy for safety.Selected Achievements:• Promoted through positions of increasing scope and responsibility from Operations Intern to Process/Console Operator to Lead OSC Operator to current Site Supervisor role.• Orchestrated successful plant turn arounds at Baytown III and Baytown II facilities in accordance with customer supply and demand schedule.• Incorporated BSP (Best Safety Practices) into daily/monthly/quarterly routines to promote and foster culture of safety.• Completed operator excellence and management training programs designed to promote effective management skills.

During my role as an OSC Operator, I enabled remote plants start-ups from OSC or at site if requested. Moreover, I monitored and operated 17-25 Production facilities companywide from remote control room for Air product GCCP (Gulf Coast Central Pipeline) including four smaller unmanned "satellite" plants that offered utility services (hydrogen, Nitrogen, Syngas etc.) to larger refineries. Other duties included spearheading the control room staffed with senior Operators while delivering technical systems support for escalated concerns. Selected Achievements:• Recognized and tasked by senior management to lead disaster recovery events and incident response i.e., unplanned equipment shutdowns; conducting root cause analysis to troubleshoot, pinpoint trends, and diagnose/mitigate issues that resulted in efficient repair/maintenance with minimal down time.• Guided Console Operators through controlled start-up and shutdowns remotely; limiting extended periods of customer curtailment: Baton Rouge SMR, Taft SMR, Pasadena SMR etc.

This role that extended just over for years allowed me to facilitate the onboarding of new recruits/interns. During this time I advocated and cultivated a culture of safety with an unwavering commitment to regulating quality assurance to ensure efficient plant operations. Other duties included contributing to Turnaround/Outage planning and serving as designated a Permit Coordinator for major outages. Finally, I was invited to numerous Air Products facilities to provide technical mentorship and support during shutdowns and/or new plant commissioning in Louisiana, California, and Canada.
