I have written for a variety of major publications and websites, including: Inside Sport (Australia), RollingStone.com, Billboard magazine, The Australian (national broadsheet), AllMusic.com, BarnesandNoble.com, The Boston Phoenix, Las Vegas Weekly, Las Vegas Magazine, American Book Review, Impact Global, The Gavin Report and Radio Ink (national radio industry publications). In addition, I have written for countless smaller publications and conducted hundreds of interviews, including celebrity interviews (both in print and on camera). I have also done PR and media writing for clients ranging from members of the general public to the NBA's Denver Nuggets. In 1987 I won a national one-act playwriting competition in Australia. In 2004 I won a New England Press Association Award for a feature on the Dalai Lama. I've also done some hosting and promotions work for a number of nightclubs over the years, usually on a part-time basis. For me, variety is the spice of life. Hence, I've done everything from interview intellectuals like Noam Chomsky to wrestle professional midget wrestlers on camera. Incidentally, both were fun but in somewhat different ways.

Legitimate business with high-end clients in the LV community. Also provided personalized limo tours for upscale visitors to the city. "Las Vegas Never Stops and Neither Do We!"

I oversee all editorial content and media materials for this forward-thinking technology company. With an emphasis on all things "green," and Section 508 compliance (i.e. technology accessibility for people with disabilities), our company is booming. Early media releases have been picked up by the Wall Street Journal, Forbes.com, CNBC and many other high-profile outlets.

Web Content Editor for LasVegasWeekly.com. Also covered happenings in Vegas in print and on video. Main focus was on nightlife. I also launched a street team of four young women who asked a weekly "crazy question" of tourists on the Strip near the Bellagio lake. This was filmed and edited for the LVW website.

Oversaw four websites (of which ElectronicHouse.com was the flagship) and edited for four magazines. Responsible for mapping out content for website overhaul, constantly coming up with fresh ideas, and keeping new content rolling in. Attended conventions and tradeshows.

Media outreach to major electronic and print media outlets. Promotion of major events and issue initiatives. Writing and editing of articles, press releases, briefs and other materials.

Performed media outreach, event coordination, speechwriting, copywriting/editing for publications and website, and handled publications production, for this anti-nukes nonprofit.

Editorial, production and marketing oversight for Gavin’s (United Business Media) Internet presence. I also wrote the news for each issue of the magazine. Gavin was a major B-to-B outlet for the radio industry for 40 years.

At the time, the Tower Records site was heavily invested in editorial content to partner its successful magazine Pulse. I designed the editorial sections of the site and populated them. Signed and managed freelancers; led my own staff; marketed the site; wrote and edited content.
