I am the Assistant Director of Business Development at Arlington Economic Development (AED), where I work with companies interested in starting, expanding, or relocating their business to Arlington, VA. I have more than 17 years of experience leading global and regional strategic programs and teams, working with government entities and agencies, companies, universities, and entrepreneurs.My core competencies include economic and business development, international and VIP relations, partnerships and donor relations, communications campaigns, and project design, monitoring, and evaluation. I have extensive experience strengthening economic development ecosystems and communities of work, using data and metrics to drive improvements. I also have a master's degree in International Affairs and I am bilingual in English and Spanish.Before joining AED, I worked at the Organization of American States (OAS) as an Economic Development, Innovation, and Partnerships Manager. I was the project manager and lead coordinator of two networks: the Inter-American Competitiveness Network and the Americas Competitiveness Exchange Network, which is recognized as the Premier Economic Development, Innovation, and Entrepreneurial Network of the Americas. I played an instrumental role in the creation, expansion, and growth of the ACE program, which has impacted over 30,000 beneficiaries.I am passionate about supporting inclusive and equitable economic development to improve the well-being of people and societies.
