Dadvance Agarwood Solutions Sdn Bhd is one of Malaysia’s leading Biotech companies specialising in the agarwood industry. The genesis of the company can be traced back to 2008 when our Founder Mr David Liew initiated the research and development of an inoculation vaccine for cultivated agarwood plantations. His vision was to develop an effective vaccine that results in high yields of agarwood consistently, thus elevating Malaysia’s agarwood industry.This was undoubtedly a huge challenge as development of agarwood inoculation vaccines up till then had yielded patchy and inconsistent results. It is a testament to Mr David Liew’s leadership, sheer determination and perseverance that he was the driving force behind a decade of relentless R&D efforts in engineering the right inoculation vaccine. He finally achieved a breakthrough in 2019 with the development of our in-house DadvanceAgritech Vaccine (DATV) that is capable of maximising high-quality agarwood resin formation as high as 85%. This led to Mr David Liew and his long-time business partner, Mr Davidoff Lim, to establish Dadvance Agarwood Solutions Sdn Bhd (DAAS) in late 2019 to provide solutions to Malaysian agarwood plantation owners to achieve the same result by capitalising on our DATV inoculation vaccine. Today, DAAS is a fully integrated biotech agarwood company offering a full spectrum of agarwood services from upstream – agarwood plantations, management, raw materials production, and inoculation services – to downstream – agarwood consumer products under the NYCX brand.
