Responsibilities include the ability to: Organize the production unit's server and archive directories, properly file, label, and arrange correspondence, video files, folders, and all pre-production materials, help the coordinators with shipment prep and ingests from overseas vendors, file, organize and assist managers, producers, and coordinators throughout production and assist in the typing of various documents, files, orders, scripts, and research material.

The Master of Fine Arts degree in Animation & Digital Arts focuses on animation production while covering the field's wide range of techniques and aesthetic approaches. Hench DADA challenges graduate students to invent their own aesthetic. Although it embraces traditional forms, the program strongly encourages innovation and experimentation, and emphasizes imagination, creativity and critical thinking. Graduate students have their own mini studios within the Marilyn and Jeffrey Katzenberg Center for Animation where they work on thesis.

Nickelodeon's Animation Production internships are a great place to gain insight into the production pipeline. Interns will be assigned to an animated TV show and will assist the production team with various office responsibilities as well as shadow the production staff, observe creative meetings, attend story pitches, and gain exposure to the workflow. Production interns with an artistic background specifically can gain insight into artistic staff responsibilities and gain hands-on experience in the creative process.

Worked as a freelance filmmaker and co-director with a creative team on a collaborative animation project between Slam Magazine and Vote4me to create a short film promoting voting for the 2020 election.

Gary and the Great Inventors: It’s Laundry day is a children’s book written by Akura Marshall. The book itself follows the main character and his brother Isaac as they go on an adventure into Washington DC to learn more about the works of the wise inventors that preceded them. During the duration of the project I worked closely with Akura to provide the every aspect of the visual depiction of the book. This included taking on roles such as Character Designer, Visual Development Artist, Art Director and Book Illustrator in order to take the vision of the book from words on paper to digital paintings. I executed the sketches and iterations of the characters based on descriptions, designs the layouts and storyboards for the narrative and then fleshed out the story into its final visual depictions. Woolf is an animated film directed by Colby Dressler. My role was to serve as the art director and this involved working closely with Colby from the early stages of the story development to the more recent stages of production to develop a style guild and to execute a visual fingerprint for his film. This involved research, exploration and iteration to achieve an end product. Through our work and sessions I was able to set a direction for the water color style of the movie, develop key rendered illustrations that would serve as layout guidelines for the matte paintings. i was also in charge of overseeing the production to ensure consistency and high fidelity art. Worked with director Sam Beveridge on his animated short film as a musical composer. The comedic film is set in Portugal and the director reached out to me to put together an upbeat fado-styled song that matches the tempo of his project and embodies the cultural setting of the film. The position required me to to research on the style of music and record numerous samples before ultimately using traditional and digital instruments to produce and instrumental background song.

Worked on a team of creatives to paint the background images for the short film "Al Otro Lado" directed, storyboarded and produced by Nadine Promes. I was one of the members on the team that worked in the established art style to provide a consistent and seamless visual experience throughout the means of digitally painting layouts provided by the films director. Nadine was one of 3 film makers chosen out of 100 candidates to participate in the Sony & Mitú program and it was an awesome experience to work on this fast paced and collaborative experience.

Catch of the Day is an animated short film created by director Haley Hustus. The premise of the film includes men on an old-timey WWII army boat who find themselves stumbling upon a hungry Siren. My role in this film was to conceptualize and design the main boat that would be used in the film. This included researching reference of WWII ships and exaggerating the proportions in order to better suit the shape language of the 2D film. I was in charge of sketching preliminary designs, rendering a final boat design, exploring color comps, and providing illustrations of close ups of the boat from different angles to aid the layout artists when painting it into the scenes.

Long Way Down is an animated short film directed by Darren Yaworski. This film and its director have both worked hard to push the limits of student thesis films by incorporating the element of VR. My job on this film was to work on the pre-visualization of the bridge. The theme embodies a noire, 40’s San Francisco mafia mood with a heavily stylized shape look. I needed to work collaboratively with the director and modelers in order to create preliminary sketches for the bridge and some of the designs for the props. These designs were modeled used primarily in the previsualization stages of the production for blocking animation as well as staging for the scenes.
