A non-service delivery role, the Suicide Prevention Regional Response Coordinator will take primary responsibility for engagement, coordination and integration of early intervention and suicide prevention activities across regional stakeholders and service providers. This may include establishing governance groups, developing local action plans and establishing response protocols.

This position entailed working across programs with case managing staff and support carers and clients, key roles have included.• Case management and incident response for Child Protection – mostly adolescents. This entailed remote area support of client and carers supporting the interaction of family, department officials and medical practitioners and liaising with Youth Justice where client orders were in place. Most of these were emergency placements where under the direction of court accommodation and support services and supervision was directed.• Supervision or management of residential bail services for Juvenile Justice. This involved the case management of youth in a residential setting for temporary placement for mentoring and support. These involved key interaction with Department of Corrective Services and legal advisers and other stakeholders to tackle issue of substance abuse, homelessness and a lack of education and training opportunities in work readiness. This was structured care in strict supervision as directed by court and in liaison with police.• Occasional involvement with client services for Disability services. Involved case management of clients to deliver in home contact time engaging client to interact more fully with community and lead in advocacy much of this entailed enhancing the clients abilities and opportunities to live more fulfilling independent lives and residence with assistance in supervision of medications and medical care, from interacting with occupational therapist to advocacy on housing to interactions with the public trustee/Advocate.

This included for a significant period of time Acting as Manager - VET Reporting & Accountability for UNDA Day-today this entailed administering Broome WA campus School of Nursing and Education VET programs from Cert II to Diploma Level, including reporting to funding bodies of the State / Commonwealth Governments.

Broome Residential College (90 Students)Geraldton Residential College (150 Students)As in the same way a Deputy Principal is responsible for the operations of a school like wise I was for these colleges (Broome – 82 students, 2 partners schools and a local board and families), Geraldton – 150 students, 6 partner schools, local board, families and stakeholders). The role was the management of staff, the attainment and delivery of training, recreational and educational planning and uphold the duty of care and occupational health and safety for staff and students.

Role involved direct residential and academic care of indigenous / non-indigenous students including International Students managing staff rosters, time and duty of care for the 170 strong border cohorts. Duties included support of teachers and scholarship partners with English as a second Language (ESL) integration for and to the student, cultural awareness and recreational planning and providing activities, supervise and assist and encourage with homework/assessment. Assisted educating students in their living tasks, pursuing levels of pastoral care and disciplining students. These ‘activities’ could range from hospital visits to consultation with teachers/parents over performance and improvement strategies. I would describe the role as like a ‘stand-in parent or bigger brother’.

Kirwan State High School, TownsvilleThe implementation and coordination, management and training of staff and services for the Commonwealth ITAS and IESIP schemes which along with my up to ten tutors and case managers provided academic, welfare and co-curricular support for the 580 of 2200 strong cohort. The Indigenous Kirwan Campus students’ assistance also became the auspices the same of the Palm Island Campus.

Providing mentoring and tutorial assistance for non-indigenous students, who are under the care/supervision of the Queensland Department of Child Safety attending the school.

Initial role involves handling customer esquires via telephone, fax, face to face. I was responsible to ensure that services are occurring as required and customers are kept informed of the progress of the service. Coordinating and responding to complaints and esquires. Liaising with freight companies, sales department, customers and service providers. General administration tasks such as invoicing, record keeping, banking, reconciling orders and payment. I have also assisted in the sales department.
