This position entailed working across programs with case managing staff and support carers and clients, key roles have included.• Case management and incident response for Child Protection – mostly adolescents. This entailed remote area support of client and carers supporting the interaction of family, department officials and medical practitioners and liaising with Youth Justice where client orders were in place. Most of these were emergency placements where under the direction of court accommodation and support services and supervision was directed.• Supervision or management of residential bail services for Juvenile Justice. This involved the case management of youth in a residential setting for temporary placement for mentoring and support. These involved key interaction with Department of Corrective Services and legal advisers and other stakeholders to tackle issue of substance abuse, homelessness and a lack of education and training opportunities in work readiness. This was structured care in strict supervision as directed by court and in liaison with police.• Occasional involvement with client services for Disability services. Involved case management of clients to deliver in home contact time engaging client to interact more fully with community and lead in advocacy much of this entailed enhancing the clients abilities and opportunities to live more fulfilling independent lives and residence with assistance in supervision of medications and medical care, from interacting with occupational therapist to advocacy on housing to interactions with the public trustee/Advocate.
