About Adriel Grant
I am currently a Social Work Supervisor in Solutions Based Casework with preventive services. I was a Media Educator, Social Work Intern, Program Assistant, Youth Counselor, Family Team conference facilitator and Social worker with Child Welfare. Over the course of all my positions; I had the pleasure of working with families, young people, LGBTQ & TGNC people, immigrant people, individuals with mental illness, children and families and the homeless population.Being a competent individual who possesses excellent interpersonal skills, I am also an experienced facilitator and presenter who has a passion for media, child and youth advocacy and youth development. I worked as a youth counselor in the Overnight program to meet the needs of these young people. I also facilitated therapeutic groups and educational groups for clients and patients. I currently work as a Social Worker with children in foster care and getting them back home with their family or adoption in which they achieved the goal of permanency. Also, have familiarity with Connection system, CANS, FASP, PYA and court procedures. Having worked in an environment that is big on teamwork, we have monthly team meetings with the young person to discuss their accomplishments. I assisted with the client’s assessment upon entry into the program, assessing their needs and goals for their time in the program.
