At NationBuilder I took on the most difficult growth areas of the business and created practices for success before handing off those functions to new managers and teams. As the non-development member of the founding team, I had a hand in nearly every aspect of the company - sales, support, product management, QA, marketing and communications, legal, and technical services. I led third-party developer support, U.S. voter data development, email reputation management, and NationBuilder Platform. I took our initial customer base from 30 to 400 organizational users in nine months after joining the company a month after product launch. With VP of Design Jesse Haff I launched the NationBuilder Architects program with a dozen firms. It now has a full-time manager and has certified scores of firms and freelancers. I also launched the Experts certification program with Jesse and hundreds of individuals have completed the certification. I launched our Platform and Apps ecosystem, managing the program in its first year and growing it to more than 1,000 developer API keys and more than 25 integrated consumer apps from around the world, including Do Gooder, Phone2Action, Care2, Tilt, ActionSprout, 123ContactForm, Aristotle, RallyBound, CallFire, Organizer and Ticketbase. With Platform Director Arion Hardison I helped launch our Developer certification and identify the first certified participants. I'm skilled at systems integrations in creating revenue-generating partnerships, and at enterprise sales. I initiated projects with Carnival Cruise Lines, LeadersUp, and the Wonder Women Tech conference and worked directly with thousands of our customers, including the British Labour Party, the Liberal Democrats, Media Matters for America and California Governor Jerry Brown.
