Over 4000 employees at 19 Manufacturing sites, 6 DC and 4 Offices. Reporting into the VP, Human Resources. Scope of role: National role in charge of Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning & Development, International Mobility. 4 Direct Reports, leading a team of 10 HR professionals.In this role, I was responsible for the development and implementation of recruitment and talent management strategies with the goal of creating a high-performance and sustainable organization, to achieve our strategic business plan. These initiatives were designed to attract, develop, motivate, and retain a productive and engaged workforce nationally.

October 2019 – February 2021: In charge of 12 sites in 4 Provinces (British-Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, and Ontario). 1500 employees (Unionized and Non-Unionized). Team of 6 HR Managers. November 2018 – October 2019: In charge of 4 sites in Ontario. 450 employees (Unionized and Non-Unionized). Team of 2 HR Managers. In this role, I provided support to the Human Resource services of the Manufacturing Sites. I led a network of Senior HR professionals in the development and implementation of Human Resources strategies, policies and programs in order to the achievement of the overall department objectives. I also led collective bargaining at the Unionized locations.- Managed and coached Human Resources professionals, establishing goals and priorities, and providing work direction. Developed a network mindset where best practices sharing is the norm, to break down the barriers and develop efficiencies.- Provided guidance and recommendations to site leaders related to recruitment and selection, performance management and people development, policies and procedures, employee/labour relations, disability management, compensation & benefits. - Labour relations: Provided guidance to the local management teams on the interpretation and administration of the Collective Agreement(s) and played a key role in resolving employee grievances. Participated in union negotiations for the sites, developed a strategy to execute the established mandate. Acted as spokesperson and signed 3 to 5-year CBAs within the mandate, in Ontario, Manitoba and Alberta.- Monitored the site labour costs and absenteeism in partnership with the FP&A teams in order to provide recommendations to correct inefficiencies. Implemented an attendance program in unionized environments with progressive discipline which reduced the absenteeism by 30%.- Trusted partner acting as the link between field and corporate. Helped successfully roll out and execute major corporate initiatives
